KENTUCKY DERBY DAY WRAP UP AND RESULTS -- HANDICAPPING HEROES

The Handicappers Scott and J. Fred Muggs gave you their selections for ALL 14 races on Derby Day. Although they had some different selections in the races -- they ended up with the SAME RESULTS.

They provided NINE WINNERS, NINE PLACES and TEN SHOWS each on the Derby Day Card.

To break it down...they gave you 56 horses and 28 hit the board.  That's batting .500 and a very good day for them on a day were the weather was wet and the track and turf sloppy and definitely yielding.

(I'll reveal it here and now since Derby has passed. "J FRED MUGGS" was actually alleged to be PAULIE but due to contractual....meaning $$$$$....obligations for another entity, Paulie wasn't allowed to actually put his selections anywhere else but their entity on Saturday) BTW, Paulie killed the other two handicappers that participated at that entity. Wasn't even close. "J-Fred" was Paulie "allegedly" on Saturday...most of you probably figured that out. I'll confirm it was.

Let's look a little further on what we gave you here FREE yesterday.

J FRED handed out (6) exactas, (4) trifectas and that includes the Derby.

SCOTT provided (5) exactas and (4) trifectas.

THE PRICES were right and Paulie's $2 trifecta on his Derby Box of Justify, Audible, Good Magic and Vino Rosso cost $48 but returned almost $300.  His .50 trifecta box in Race 8 cost $12 and returned $213.

In the end, in the Derby, it was Justify staying close to the pace the whole rce and taking over at the end. Good Magic tried to join him but could never get by and barely held off the charging Audible at the wire to get second and third.

Let's hope all three return for the Preakness and they get nice weather for that race.

YOU CAN GO TO SATURDAY'S HANDICAPPING article and see THE RESULTS/ORDER OF TOP THREE FINISHES IN RED for all 14 races.

Now, a day of rest on Sunday.
