SARATOGA SATURDAY

Opening weekend at Saratoga. The Spa. Maybe the best racing of the year at the Saratoga meet and a great card for this Saturday !

The first two days have provided a slew of upsets at the New York track...nine of the 21 winners on Thursday have scored at odds of 5-1 or better.

I will try to hit the late Pick 4 today at Saratoga. I've produced two days of 3 out of 4 winners in the sequence so far, so we'll see if I can get add just one more winner to the four-race sequence today. A nice maiden allowance race on the turf, the Grade I Diana, a competitive allowance race and ending with a wide open claiming affair await us. Three out of the four on the turf (depending on weather, of course) but clear skies, 0% chance of rain and temperatures in the mid-eighties are PREDICTED...so it should be a grand day for racing around the canoe lake.
