Churchill Downs -- Handicappers Resuts from Saturday June 24th

The Handicappers fared well again on a Saturday at Churchill Downs in the late PK 4 sequence...taking that down, in addition to both Pick 3's in the four races. Once again, the prices were nothing to brag about...favorites ruled the day and only What A Star in the 8th race returned double digits on a $2 wager. As Scott often reminds us, though...we can pick winners but we cannot control the tote board prices. Here's the recap:

SCOTT had 14 of the 16 horses he selected break from the gate and...of those...seven got you paid. He had the winner in all four races, two runner ups and a third place finish. Add two exactas, both Pick 3's and the Pick 4 to his totals as well. His best bet War Daddy ran second and Value Play Soil didn't fire...but he had Brian Hernandez, Jr. as his top jock and the Lafayette, LA native got his picture taken twice. Scott finishes the day with a very respectable 51 points.

PAULIE saw 15 of his 16 in the post parades and he had eight of those hit the tote board. Paulie gave you four winners, two seconds and two thirds. Credit him for two exactas, both Pick 3's and the Pick 4 as well. His Best Bet Finley's Lucky Charm won easily but Value Play Kitten's Gold was an also ran. He, too, had B.J. Jr. as his top jockey. The Paulster grabs second place for the day with an impressive 62 points.

ARCHIE prognosticated on 15 that started and had eight of those involved in the exotics. Four winners for Artful Union's owner, two places and two shows. Add two exactas, a trifecta, both Pick 3s and the Pick 4 into his totals also. He was also backing Finley's Lucky Charm as his Top Pick and had Brian Hernandez, Jr. as his Top Jock. His Value Play Honor Ride wasn't so honorable. Archie takes the day with 65 points.

A further look at the handicappers selections shows that out of Archie's top pick in each race...three of them were winners. His second pick in Race 8 was a winner also. Paulie also had three winners out of his top pick in each race. His second pick in Race 9 also won. For Scott, two of his top picks got to the winners circle. His third choices in Races 8 and 11 won for him.

Everyone enjoys a winner at the track. We each gave you all four in the sequence. Handicapping Heroes gives you picks that translate into cash-able tickets. We can't make it any clearer than this. If you want to win, play our picks!
