Results from 3/25/17 Turfway Spiral Stakes and Pk 4

Saturday wasn't a day we'll always remember because of the handicappers selections. Honestly, it was a rough go for the guys predicting the Turfway sequence and winners. Prices galore out there if you had them...17-1 in the 8th, 14-1 in the 9th, 25-1 in the 10th and 23-1 in the 11th. 

The guys teamed up with Spanky and did a Pick 4 ticket where they went a little deep into the card. They came up with the winners in the 8th. and 9th. Scott gave you the winner in the 8th and in the ninth...our buddy Dr. Tom Childers had a horse going (Purely A Dream) and won!  and we included the horse in our pick 4. Unfortunately, no one tossed in the #3 in the 10th race. Paulie gave you the winner in the 11th...but no pick 4 cashing...it paid over $79,000 on a 50 cent bet. 


PAULIE provided 16 horses to consider. One scratched. Out of them, he had three third-place finishes and a winner. His best bet and top jock of the sequence fell short...but his value play (Ingadore) in the 11th won and paid $47.20 to win! He leads the points total for today with 16 

SCOTT offered 16 horses to look at also and had that same scratch (Royal by Nature) His remaining horses got him a win and four shows. None of his multipliers came through...he ended the day with seven points.

ARCHIE ended up with 15 horses answering the starting bell. No winners for him and three third place runners. He struck out also on the Best Bet, Value Play and Top Jock areas. His day produced 3 points.


In the overall race...Scott stays on top with 91 points. Archie is second with 83 and Paulie stays third with 80.
