Recap of Saturday 3/18/17

We had some ups and downs in handicapping the late pick four at Oaklawn that surrounded the Rebel Stakes but we still provided winners in three of the four races and had some successes. Here's the recap.

SCOTT HARRIS gave us 16 runners and six of those hit the board. Two winners, three seconds and a third. Two exactas hit and his value play (Leofric)  won...plus his top jock (Javier Castellano) won twice. A total of 47 points...making his the runaway winner on the day out of the three of us

ARCHIE KAREL provided 16 horses over the four race sequence and five paid out. Two winners, two places and a show. His top jock for the sequence won a race (Mike Smith). Give the Vegas insider a total of 21 points for Saturday.

PAULIE'S 16 entries ended up returning money on six of them. Two winners, two seconds and two thirds. His best bet of the day won (Mor Spirit) won also. He ends up with a total of 22 points for the day...an OK but not spectacular day.

After two weeks....SCOTT leads the contest with 84 points. Archie is close behind with 80 and
Paulie follows with 64.
