Breeders Cup Saturday...A look at the First Three -- HANDICAPPING HEROES

Saturday brings 10 (count 'em...10) Breeders Cup races to Santa Anita. I'll be giving you picks for the first three today, the next three Thursday, three more Friday and saving the Classic for Saturday morning. If you missed Friday's selection...I've done a separate column for those.

Water's fine! Let's dive right in...

JUVENILE FILLIES

(10) Noted and Quoted. Won the Chandeiler Stakes at Santa Anita.
(9) Union Strike. Took the Del Mar Debutante. Martin Garcia knows track.
(7) Jamyson n Ginger. Just a hunch here for a price. Watch the board.
(8) Dancing Rags. Rider Angel Cruz has a special bond with her. Don't ignore.

FILLY AND MARE TURF

(5) Al's Gal. Looking for a price here with J. Ortiz and the Ramsey's
(3) Seventh Heaven. If the turf is firm, watch out for this invader
(8) Lady Eli. Comeback continues for her. Impressive in Flower Bowl.
(10) Kitchat. Invader rules in Chile. How will she adapt here? A shot.

TWIN SPIRES SPRINT

(6) Lord Nelson. A potential single for me. 4 straight wins (last at Santa Anita)
(5) AP Indian. 6 for 6 in 2016. Joe Bravo up. If the "Lord" fails...watch him.
(7) Masochistic Five bullet works tells me he's ready off the layoff.
(8) Noholdingback Bear. Maybe a step slower than "Lord" but offers value.
